The Associate Director will be responsible for a variety of daily and monthly tasks to service our clients.
- Process shareholder activity within allocation tables and reconcile to the TA platform
- Review monthly GAV work paper package. Review all month end reconciliations including cash, positions, market price, market value, and accrued interest/dividends to supporting schedules and Trial Balance
- Assist with client onboarding which includes, but not limited to, loading of client's tax lots, cash balance and trial balance onto the accounting platform
- Assist in year-end audit by providing backup documentation for sampling selected by client's auditors.
- Review expense budget analysis and expense calculations
- Maintain daily and monthly accounting records.
- Review calculations for net assets for partnerships and unitized funds, allocate profit and loss to each investor including
- New issue income
- Side pocket
- Management fees
- Incentive fee calculations
- Calculate and review fund returns
- Perform ad-hoc functions related to fund requirements
Required Skills
TECHNICAL OR ADMINISTRATIVE KNOWLEDGE:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft software
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Knowledge of securities and fixed income assets
- Working knowledge of accounting systems (Geneva, VPM) and partnership allocations

Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance or Economics Degree
Minimum 4 years of previous fund accounting experience, preferably with hedge fund or hedge fund administrator
