POSITION OVERVIEW:

Freddie Mac's Investment and Capital Markets (ICM) Division is currently seeking a Cash Window Analyst to support ICM's Whole Loan Conduit.

THIS POSITION IS A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE, REQUIRING 3 DAYS IN THE OFFICE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE

OUR IMPACT:

The Cash Window provides liquidity to over 1000 mortgage originators that sell their Single-Family loans to Freddie Mac. We enable Cash Window customers to leverage capital markets expertise by providing innovative pricing and pooling capabilities which results in sharp whole loan pricing.

YOUR IMPACT:

You will have every opportunity to identify continuous improvements in Cash Window processes and will have a 360 degree view into sourcing loan collateral, hedging and securitizing pools and securities distribution to investors. In this role, you will be required to:

• Gain a deep understanding of the MBS market including trading TBAs and specified pools

• Securitize pools for sale

• Run extensive data analysis for Ad Hoc projects using Python, SQL and other programming languages

• Develop a knowledge of the Cash Desk through interactions with other teams and trading desks

• Manage projects and deliverables under tight deadlines

• Prepare presentations for management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of functional and industry experience in fixed income markets

• Bachelor or Advanced degree in Finance, economics, statistics, or other related fields preferred

• Deep understanding of fixed income especially mortgage market

• Ability to understand basic financial and fixed income models

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and light programming skills

• Professional certifications are a plus
