These would include clients from the Branches, Active Trader Overlay, Client Services and Advisor Services. SGS has daily interactions from virtually every customer contact area of Schwab and works to promote an outstanding client experience as it relates to all facets of their international equity investments. SGS also has direct-line telephone contact with external market makers as well as the various major market centers in foreign securities. SGS regularly serves clients living outside the US that have international accounts with us to provide investment, trading and operational inquiries. Other services provided include document translation services for internal partners and foreign language support for clients. What youll do: This role is responsible for providing service to all clients trading securities on exchanges outside of the U.S. The candidates selected for this position will provide outstanding customer service in a wide range of areas including but not limited to trading and operations follow-up on foreign securities. Additionally, this role is the primary service team for clients living outside the US for their investment and service needs. This position provides the opportunity to utilize a combination of previous customer support experience, trading skills, and knowledge of financial and economic foreign markets in a high call volume environment. In this role, candidates would be expected to manage business areas including productivity and client satisfaction. What you have: * This role is hiring for second and third shifts as detailed below: * second shifts (shift ends anywhere between 9pm-12am) + 10% shift premium pay * third shifts (shift ends anywhere between 12am - 7am) + 20% shift premium pay * Role may be filled at grade level 55 or 56, depending on experience. * Series 7 & 63 required, Series 9/10 preferred. * Foreign language fluency preferred with a need focusing on Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese. * At least one year of trading experience or prior foreign trading experience required. * A strong desire to learn more about foreign markets and securities. * A solid understanding of the foreign equity markets and economics is essential. * Knowledge of rules around international clients investing in the US, the various jurisdictional, regulatory and product restrictions preferred * Excellent interpersonal and writing skills and a customer service focus are essential. * Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
