future. Our Opportunity: Payment Product Services Speciality Operations
Team provides operational support for Charles Schwab & Co. Inc and
Charles Schwab Bank customers initiating dispute claims. What youll do:
The Associate and Specialist in the Specialty Operations team in Product
Payment Services (PPS) provides support for the Schwab One and Schwab
Bank product features. Responsibilities include initiating and
researching electronic Bill Pay for clients, processing and reviewing
Visa Debit Card issuance and maintenance, and processing Verifications
of Deposit for both Bank and the Broker Dealer. The Specialist will
utilize ACE/Swiss/myQ, Service Tracking, E-Mail and Excel Macros. They
will correspond by phone and email with internal and external partners,
including third-party vendors, customer service teams, branch
representatives and other operational teams. Client contact may be
required as well for certain functions. The position requires someone
who possesses a strong sense of priority and knows when to seek out
additional workload when daily tasks are completed. They are also
expected to maintain a strong working rapport with co-workers and peers
through effective interaction and participate in actions that foster
teamwork. In addition, the Specialist will be expected to demonstrate
strong working relationships with department partner teams and other
internal business partners and ensure all goals and service levels are
met. The Specialist will also demonstrate effective understanding of
risk mitigation through role proficiency and daily decision making. In
addition, they will question and escalate issues that are unique or out
of the ordinary. What you have: The Associate and Specialist will have:
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks *
Ability to work within a deadline driven and fast paced environment *
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Adaptable to
learn and navigate multiple integrated brokerage, banking and 3rd party
systems * Self -starter who is able to utilize resources and solve
problems as they may arise * Proficient with technology including
Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word * Takes initiative to perform day to
day tasks with limited guidance or direct supervision * Licensing
preferred Associate additional requirements: * 1-2 years of experience
in the financial services and/or banking industry, in an operational or
client service role or equivalent education Specialist additional
requirements: * 3-4 years of experience in the financial services and/or
banking industry, in an operational or client service role or equivalent
education * Working knowledge of debit card and bill pay * Demonstrated
experience in leadership You demonstrate these behaviors: * Take
