Operations and Technology plays a central role in driving value for Citi and its clients. The Chief Technology Office (CTO) within O&T is looking for summer analysts to join one of its many technology teams focused on the optimization of our IT environment by standardizing production platforms, reducing complexity and introducing innovative solutions that create a competitive advantage for Citi.

Including the primary innovation arm for the enterprise, CTO is responsible for driving the creation of Citi's overall Information Technology strategy as well as developing end-to-end solutions that serve Citi’s various global functions such as HR, Compliance, Legal, Finance, etc. CTO roles are some of the most technical in Citi, and its summer interns will leverage cutting-edge technology, using enterprise-level application development and infrastructure engineering, to deliver world-class solutions for Citi and its clients.

With a “Cloud-first” mentality, CTO is focused on a number of transformational engineering initiatives that include harnessing Big Data, the exploration of Hybrid Cloud, strengthening Cyber Security and a transition to Enterprise Containers. Additionally, its global functions and production assurance teams provide a wide-range of enterprise opportunities including data analytics, application development, DevOps, end-to-end design and infrastructure management.

The Summer Technology Analyst Program is a 10-week long program with the aim to deliver high-caliber professionals and future leaders, through technical project work, on-the-job training and related development. The program is comprised of various speaker’s series, leadership training and hands-on experience. Likewise, we offer a variety of networking, mentoring and community service events, all intended to reinforce the Core Values of the Program – Innovation, Leadership, Collaboration and Service.

Your time here will look something like this...

  • Apply knowledge of IT to participate in the development of state-of-the-art solutions for use by Citi businesses, its global functions and 200,000+ employees
  • Perform analysis and testing functions in the evaluation of enterprise technology, and execution of test plans to ensure product meets requirements
  • Collaborate with internal partners and industry-leading suppliers to design capabilities that range from analytics to cloud architecture and security to distributed computer systems and end-user solutions
  • Identify and analyze business and operational requirements and contribute to the development of related IT systems
  • Work with external vendors to drive product development related to referenced systems and capabilities

Qualifications

We want to hear from you if...

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a tech-related discipline
  • Preferred disciplines include: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology or Management Information Systems
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
  • You have an interest in working in a high-tech, global environment and have a passion for technology that extends beyond the classroom.
  • You view innovation as a way of life and want to use the latest programming languages and engineering know-how to design digital solutions that transform global finance.
  • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
