Notes to Applicants POSITION DESCRIPTION : This position will provide technical consulting services for the Green Building Evaluation and Development group which supports the Austin Energy Green Building ( AEGB ) commercial and residential groups and the incentive program incorporating energy modeling for Customer Energy Solutions ( CES ) to meet the goals for demand and energy savings. The person in this position will: Review and approve client energy models submitted for AEGB ratings and the AE Integrated Modeling Incentive program to confirm energy and peak demand savings. Research and develop procedures and tools for building and reviewing energy models. Build energy simulation models for AEGB rated projects that have no client model to confirm energy and peak demand savings. Build energy simulation models to quantify energy and demand savings from adoption of new energy codes and new AEGB rating systems based on the adopted energy code. Develop and monitor the measurement and verification criteria and process for projects reported through the AEGB rating and AE modeling incentive programs.
