    SUMMARY

    The Client Reporting Services Specialist is responsible for assisting with the successful launch and daily support of large-scale reporting platforms within Stifel’s Investment Products and Services Group. The Specialist will be performing daily tasks and processes involved in training and supporting Stifel’s advisors in their successful delivery of reporting services to their clients. The Specialist will also assist in requirements definition, project management, and implementation of projects critical to the strategic development of Stifel’s reporting platforms. The Specialist will be expected to maintain an understanding of Stifel’s investment products and services, operational processes, compliance policies, and technology platforms in order to assist with product support and project implementation.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the day-to-day management of large-scale reporting platforms and supporting systems.

    • Perform all tasks vital to the enhancement and maintenance of Stifel’s client reporting tools; including portfolio performance validation, reconciliation, data entry, and the creation of client reporting packages.

    • Regularly interact with Financial Advisors and Clients (both directly and indirectly) to provide high-touch reporting services to qualifying clients in the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth space.

    • Document required processes for ongoing system support, maintain detailed logs tracking user enhancement requests, participate in requirements gathering for ongoing system updates, and help facilitate user integration and acceptance testing.

    • Under guidance of senior team members, work closely with Operations, Compliance, IT, and technology vendors to develop and prioritize requirements to enhance and improve the advisor and client experience across Stifel’s reporting platforms.

    • Align key technology partner development plans with project priorities, and present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.

    • Assist in the launch of new systems, services, and/or processes in conjunction with the business unit owner by assisting in the creation of training documentation, establishing adoption plans, and supporting deployment efforts.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • General knowledge and understanding of the wealth management business, including as it relates to investment products (securities, stocks, bonds, funds, separately managed accounts, options, annuities, etc.), strategies (active v. passive), account types (advisory v. brokerage), and regulatory environment.

    • General knowledge of investment performance reporting and measurement including various methodologies, calculations, and related statistics.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to discuss industry knowledge effectively during inter-departmental and external interactions.

    • Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines while managing a high volume of requests.

    • Ability to perform daily operational tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature including data entry, data aggregation, calculation validation, and branch user support.

    • Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with an ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience required.

    • 1+ years related investment services industry experience required.

    LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

    • None required. Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66 in lieu of 63 and 65) or ability to acquire after hire preferred.

    SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY

    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    • Experience with SQL and VBA preferred.

    • Experience with investment product research software such as Morningstar Advisor Workstation, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet, Zephyr StyleAdvisor, and similar.

    • Experience with portfolio accounting and performance management software such as Addepar, Vestmark, APL, Envestnet, Advent, or similar.
