    OppenheimerFunds (“OFI”) Client Relations team is looking for a Service Associate to join our award-winning team, to help us in continuing to provide an exceptional experience for our clients.     Ideally, you will have previous phone and customer service experience, you are coachable, have follow-through, and pay high attention to detail. You will have a passion for serving and delighting your clients and you will know that even though it might be your 50th call for the day, it is your client’s one and only and highly critical conversation. Your excellent communication skills will convey your knowledge and caring to each and every client you work with to help achieve their objectives. You will represent OFI as a valued team member ensuring the continuous awarding of honors to our Client Service Team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate, or a seasoned individual looking for a new career track, to get in to a remarkable organization that is embracing transformation. You will have an opportunity for continuous learning, and Series 6 license training is provided.

    What you will do:

    • Provide mutual fund account services to investors and broker/dealers by answering incoming telephone calls, helping up to 100 people per day
    • Determine appropriate action necessary to fulfill customer requests by investigating the needs of the customer and broker, and effectively communicating with other departments on our customers' behalf, using your knowledge and complex thinking skills
    • Use our internal account system, internal databases, and other applications as necessary to service our clients
    • While meeting your individual performance standard, contribute to and enhance the team's performance by sharing information with colleagues, effectively using resources and offering alternatives to common problems, formulating and submitting ideas to supervisors, and contributing to a harmonious and professional work environment

  • Qualifications
    • A passion for helping people who are investing in their futures using excellent verbal and written skills (to include professional telephone etiquette)
    • Demonstrated PC skills, in a windows-based environment. Ability to effectively new applications in a timely manner
    • Must be able to complete a required training course and pass the series 6 exam within six months of hire date
    • Quantifiable ability to show detail orientation
    • Ability to work a standard work-week between the hours of 6:00AM-6:00PM

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Fluently Bi-Lingual in Spanish/English
    • Series 6 or 7 license

    This position will start in June 2018
