    The Client Service Coordinator in the Ameriprise Advisor Center (AAC) is responsible for increasing engagement with existing unengaged and newly transferred clients, by warm calling clients and scheduling appointments to discuss financial planning services. This position predominantly works via telephone placing outbound calls. Call guides will be utilized to increase consistency of each call and improve client engagement rates. This is an unlicensed position intended for those that want to obtain their Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 and state insurance licenses and advance into the licensed roles within the Advisor Center.

    Ameriprise Financial does not offer internships for students with F-1 visas.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and deepen relationships with current clients via the telephone.
    • Support Sales Manager as a support resource for the current regional team.
    • Set appointments for clients to converse with financial advisors.
    • Engage in on-going professional development to increase industry, product, sales and servicing skills and abilities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Current Juniors with interest in financial planning.
    • Excellent academic performance; a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

    • High level of confidence, perseverance and a strong desire to achieve and succeed.
    • Outstanding verbal, written and listening communication skills.
    • Superior customer service skills.
    • Ability to quickly compile, verify and calculate information to provide solutions and recommendations.
