    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Our Collateral Exam organization has an opportunity for a Collateral Examiner III.

    Responsibilities are listed but not limited to:

    • Perform audits - Review clients’ accounting books & records and independently perform the following: Calculate the Ineligibles for A/R and Inventory

    • Independently calculate availability based on records provided by Client and structure per LSA. Compare and reconcile when needed.

    • Calculate Hard dilution based on a review of the A/R G/L & credit memos.

    • Perform an A/R invoice sample review for verification of proper supporting documentation.

    • Work with client to understand and determine collectability of delinquent A/R balances.

    • Obtain deferred revenue detail and calculate potential A/R offset.

    • Perform independent physical test counts of inventory pledged as support for ABL loans. This involves obtaining a detailed inventory listing by skew and picking a sample to physically inspect usually in the Client’s warehouse or at a third-party warehouse.

    • Review A/P aging, test back to vendor invoices, and work with client to determine payment status of delinquent vendors.

    • Review Cash accounts on G/L and determine where A/R collections are being deposited.

    • Determine based on deposits if the Client is in compliance with meeting Dominion

    • Review payroll taxes and payments to ensure they are paid current and do not present a risk to SVB’s loan.

    • Obtain monthly Financial Statements and spread last FYE and current interim period, complete CF analysis.

    • Work with G/L trial balance to detail out all the major balance sheet amounts.

    • Reconcile the G/L balance to subsidiary journals for A/R, A/P, Cash, deferred revenue and inventory (when part of the BB).

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of related Asset Based Lending audit or experience.

    • Should be very strong on Excel (pivot tables, lookup) and good with Word, Outlook, and computers in general.

    • Excellent credit analysis and good negotiation/diplomacy skills are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent related experience.

    • Opportunity to be set up for full-time remote home office capabilities.

    BASE PAY:

    $86,377.00 - $132,742.00

    Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
