SUMMARY

The Commercial Loan Coordinator I is responsible for the commercial or syndication loan request from the time of application to closing. This position will assist in lending process of commercial loan requests through proper documentation while balancing service, quality and compliance and relationship building.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works closely with Commercial Lenders and Credit Analysts to review loan application packages for completeness and accuracy. Verifies supporting income, asset and liability documentation to support a credit decision.

• Assists with wires (incoming/outgoing) as needed.

• Communicates with Operations Manager and Lending Department to help ensure proper time management of file process.

• Provides customer service to internal and external customers.

• Understands and complies with industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.

• Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.

• Team oriented, possesses a positive attitude and works well with others.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

• No experience required. 1+ years experience in a financial institution/loan servicing experience preferred.

SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
