SUMMARY

The Commercial Post Close ensures loan files are complete; works with loan team members to create proper dialogue and accurate loan documentation while balancing service, quality and compliance and relationship building.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works closely with commercial loan team members to:

  • Maintain proper documentation as needed on all loan files.

  • Maintain insurance on loan files.

  • Book commercial loans.

  • Track advances, payments and rate changes.

  • Assist with incoming and outgoing wires.

  • Process and verifies secondary market GL tickets.

  • Release paid files in a timely fashion.

• Processes and verifies payments, advance request and rate change notices for syndication loans.

• Maintains customer confidence by keeping client information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.

• Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.

• Basic knowledge of industry regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth-in-Lending laws, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; college degree preferred.

• No experience required, 1+ years' experience in commercial operations preferred.

SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
