Citi is looking for Full-Time Analysts to join the Commodities division in Houston, Texas. The Commodities business falls under the Citi's Markets & Securities Services division, and we are a top global Commodities bank. Our capabilities include trading and marketing commodities and commodity derivatives in power, natural gas, and crude oil and oil products.

As an Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to rotate to different desks within the franchise and gain a well-rounded experience within Commodities. You will have opportunities to actively participate in risk management, marketing, origination, structured products, logistics or fundamental analysis. The Analyst Program equips you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career here. You will be placed on the trading floor, working closely with senior salespeople and traders. At Citi, we value internal mobility, and many former Analysts now work in sales and trading here as Associates, Vice Presidents, and Directors.

YOUR TIME HERE WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS...

You will work on your assigned desk performing a variety of functions, adding more value as you develop. You will be given the opportunity to rotate to multiple desks over the course of the program, allowing you to gain a broader knowledge base and network within the firm. Rotations may include Corporate Derivatives Sales, East Power Trading, West Power Trading, ERCOT Trading, Natural Gas Trading, Power Fundamentals, Origination, or Structuring. We believe our Analysts should be fully educated on different perspectives within the business, so we encourage Analysts to rotate to both sales desks and trading desks over the course of the program.

All Commodities Analysts participate in a training program before starting on their assigned desk. Courses taught include oil fundamentals, power fundamentals, natural gas fundamentals, overview of derivative products, option pricing, risk management, and trading simulations.

We hire talented people who are obtaining bachelor's and some master's degrees from a variety of universities for our Markets & Securities Services: Commodities Program. We will consider applicants with a 3.3 GPA or above from a variety of universities. There are no major requirements; programming and statistics skills are encouraged. Must graduate between December 2021 and June 2022.
