Johnson Financial Group is looking for a Compliance Intern for Summer 2022!

As a Compliance Intern with JFG, you will get a well-rounded, hands on experience with general banking compliance, Fair Lending, and Compliance Review. This position will be located at our headquarters in Racine, WI.

During this internship you will:

• Analyze JFG's Compliance Management System and provide feedback
• Lead numerous Compliance Reviews of a specific regulation (research the regulation, review and analyze Line of Business (LOB) data, review a sample, determine control effectiveness, and draft the initial memo and final report to LOB partners)
• Create a regulatory guide to assist LOB partners (summary of a regulation, key aspects and/or changes, areas of concern for the LOB, and associate responsible for compliance)
• Learn about Fair Lending, including the Community Reinvestment Act and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, and strategies for success
• Participate in LOB partnership and project meetings
• Attend Committee meetings, including Compliance and Customer Fairness
• Assist in the management of a formal customer complaint, including communication with LOB partners, research, and response review
• Support the implementation of a final rule by attending work group meetings and reviewing regulatory changes

Qualifications:

• Seeking degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Legal/ Criminal Justice
• Junior standing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Course work in banking or banking experience preferred
• Involvement in a Risk Management program preferred

Duration: 10 weeks

Salary: $18.00/ hour
