    As a member of the Compliance Department, the Compliance Supervisor will have the ability and be expected to drive change, and positively impact the Company by identifying issues, driving change, providing feedback to and working with management and recommending actions to help minimize regulatory compliance and legal risk within a dynamic, growing organization.

    WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE AT FLAGSHIP AS A COMPLIANCE SUPERVISOR?

    • The successful candidate will assist the management in ensuring the effective administration of our Compliance Management System (“CMS”) with hands on, day-to-day effort and assisting in managing personnel.

    • Assist with the maintenance and execution of the “Compliance Program,” which includes the following:

      • Development and maintenance of policies, procedures and operational training governing the conduct of the business in a manner designed to help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and other Company policy.

      • Overseeing and implementing required regulatory training designed to help ensure awareness of the laws governing our business.

      • Overseeing and assisting with the Company’s corrective action program, which includes corrections and changes to processes and policy, as well as remediation to impacted consumers when appropriate.

      • Overseeing and executing risk-based monitoring and testing of the Company’s operations and efficacy of its CMS in order to help identify and correct areas of control weaknesses creating risks of non-compliance.

      • Conducting periodic, formal risk assessments to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in the CMS and to help prioritize.

    • Assist with overseeing and managing the Company’s vendor management program, which conducts initial and periodic risk-based subsequent compliance-related due diligence of the Company’s vendors and their operations, and periodic risk-based testing and monitoring, each designed to identify and correct areas of control weakness creating risks of non-compliance.

    • Facilitate Board and Company management oversight of compliance matters, including by producing clear and detailed reports including items of importance, allowing for oversight by the Compliance Committee and Board of Directors Compliance Committee.

    • Support a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

    • Assist with complaint management oversight and the regulatory change management elements of the CMS.

    • Assist the VP of Compliance with the execution of the Company’s fair lending monitoring program, at the direction of the Legal Department. This includes managing and supporting delegated staff with the technical capability, understanding and resources to conduct the monitoring in accordance with the Fair Lending Monitoring Policy, as it may change from time to time.

    • Assist with managing Compliance Department associates.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • BS or BA from an accredited college/university; JD a plus

    • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) strongly preferred.

    • At least 5 years related experience required

    • Broad working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for a state and federally supervised and examined financial institutions, including the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010; Truth in Lending and Regulation Z; Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Regulation B; Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices; Fair Credit Reporting Act and Regulation V; Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act; Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Privacy Rule/Safeguards Rule; Credit Practice Trade Regulation Rule/Credit Practices Rule; USA PATRIOT Act; Fair Debt Collection Practices Act; Telephone Consumer Protection Act; Servicemembers Civil Relief Act; Right to Financial Privacy Act; Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act; Electronic Funds Transfer Act and Regulation E; Federal Trade Commission Act and Federal Advertising Rules; OFAC Requirements.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that accurately and clearly summarize issues and present solutions in an understandable and logical manner.

    • Proven ability to manage/lead a team or group in the achievement of goals and objectives, specifically to: Develop clear team direction; Manage workload and allocation of tasks; Assist and encourage employees to improve performance and/or develop professionally; Provide ongoing informal and formal feedback; and Manage performance.

    • Proven ability to influence others' actions and decisions without express authority.

    • Proven ability to analyze complex laws and regulations and relate those laws to procedures of assigned areas.

    • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships.

    • Excellent analytical skills.

    • Proven ability to employ desktop technologies to advantage, adopting and developing systems and tools for auditing, testing and reports.

    • Strong proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    • Strong PC Skills
