About Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Video Analytics, and Perceptive Systems: Isolating and summarizing valuable information from hundreds of hours of video, taken from many locations and perspectives, in real-time without human intervention and become the next frontier. We develop real-world systems that integrate and interpret data from video, imagery, and other sources and make meaningful and scalable solutions in transportation, tolling, public safety, retail, and other areas. As experts in imaging and vision systems, we develop and deliver solutions, which include fixed surveillance networks, smart phones, iPads, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or body cameras. Intern job responsibilities: * Collaborate with the innovation team to develop Proof of Concepts and Minimal Viable Products that meet requests from Conduent business divisions. * Contribute to research projects that apply and refine open source algorithms in computer vision to image and video analytics. * Help identify the state of the art algorithms and test their effectiveness with datasets in transportation (parking, automatic, license plate recognition, vehicle occupancy detection), retail (people tracking) and other businesses of interest. Training Program: * Interns will also have access to Conduent Learning, an online portal containing extensive subject matter and courses that are both technical and business oriented. * Throughout the internship period, interns will have a tremendous amount of exposure to the wide variety of research efforts occurring throughout Conduent Innovation.
