serves as a liaison between the Medi-Cal provider community, healthcare
associations, the CA-MMIS account, and DHCS. In this capacity, the
Medi-Cal Field Representative is responsible for conducting face-to-face
onsite visits to providers who bill Medi-Cal to provide education and
support in resolving provider issues. The Medi-Cal Field Representative
is also responsible for conducting provider billing workshops/seminars
and participating in conferences and conventions. **Requirements ** **
** **At least 2 years of Medicaid / Claims experience ** Current
California drivers license and clean DMV report required Experience
in conducting public speaking events/training Exceptional written
and verbal communication skills **Must live within 15-50 miles radius
of San Francisco county. ** Ability to lift 20-25 pound boxes Have
home internet Prefer Bachelors degree Tasks and Responsibilities *
Maintains consistent communications with providers, including the
communication of policy changes and updates * Coordinates and conduct
orientations and training for newly enrolled providers and established
providers to ensure provider understands their roles and
responsibilities, billing procedures, and program policies * Maintains
working knowledge of the CA-MMIS contract and procedures, and able to
communicate information to the external (provider community) and
internal customers * Maintains schedule of regular provider office
visits for goodwill and problem-solving efforts * Maintains
documentation of provider visits, provider communications (verbal and
written), and any necessary follow-up activities and document into CRM *
Recruits providers for participation in Medi-Cal and other state
healthcare programs * Recruits providers for participation in computer
media claims (CMC) submission and EFT * Assist in preparation and
updating of provider publications * Designs and develops workshop,
in-service, and conference materials * Develops education materials to
include articles for bulletins, flyers, and any necessary correspondence
to assist educate provider on Medicaid issues * Contacts providers with
identified billing issues to offer onsite service/visit * Participates
in local medical community organizations as public relations effort *
Participates in or leads cross-functional teams focused on the delivery
of new or existing projects. * Plans and directs schedules and may
monitor budget/spending. * Monitors the project from initiation through
delivery. * Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring
completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. *
Responsible for coordinating the delivery of professional services to
customers. * Responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing,
directing, controlling and delivery of all projects prioritized in
alignment with the clients expectations and business needs. Conduent
