    Citi’s Consumer Banking Summer Management Associate (MA) Program is a 10-week internship that provides development-focused opportunities coupled with structured classroom training, mentoring and individual development resources. In addition, the Summer Associate gets to spend 1 week in an assigned group within a different track as a way to learn about another part of the business and work collaboratively with other Summer Associates.

    Candidates who join the Summer MA Program can work in one of several tracks within the Global Consumer Bank. Examples include US Cards, US Consumer Digital, Global Retail Banking, and Global Consumer Marketing.

    We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The Summer Associate Program trains and cultivates key players in today’s changing economic environment and Summer Associates will gain deep expertise GCB’s four business units. The Summer Associate Program is 10 weeks long and starts in June with intensive training that will provide essential skills knowledge as well as a comprehensive orientation to Citi’s culture. After initial training, participants will join a Consumer Banking team and will receive continuous skills training and dedicated mentorship throughout the program. Successful Summer Associates are eligible to join Citi as Full-Time Associates upon graduation.

    As a Summer Associate in Global Consumer Banking, you can work in one of several areas/businesses including US Cards, US Consumer Digital, Global Retail Banking, and Global Consumer Marketing. The various job functions within these businesses may include:

    • Marketing/Acquisitions: Getting new customers
    • Product Management: End to end product strategy, owner of product P&L
    • Innovation: Launching of new products, features, and partnerships
    • Customer Experience: Digital customer journeys, mobile app
    • Analytics: Developing business cases to drive decisions forward
  • Qualifications
    • You are obtaining an MBA degree and graduating December 2020 – June 2021
    • You have 3-5 years of work experience
    • Candidates must possess valid US work authorization in order to be eligible to participate in the Program. Citi will not sponsor any Program participants for employment in the US
