SVB, a division of First Citizens Bank, is hosting a summer intern who will gain experience in how to provide business planning and support across Client Advisory Services (CAS) and offers valuable hands-on experience with process optimization through dynamic learning environments. The individual will collaborate with internal partners, serve as a stakeholder in client experience calls, utilize resources to bridge control gaps and be a representative for the CAS community. Overall, this individual will be focused on business unit alignment and operational goals.
This internship, seated in Phoenix, AZ, will be a hybrid role (time in both office & remote).
Responsibilities include:
- Client Experience Assessments – Performs reviews on internal and external interactions for all channels such as chat, email, phone and ensures Service Standards are being met.
- Case Management Analysis - Performs advanced research on case details, reporting and metrics for Client Advisory Services. Help to align teams with Service Level Agreement metrics by highlighting areas of improvement or concern.
- Procedure/Documentation Improvements - Tie to research of Client Experiences, Client Contacts, Cases, and agent feedback to further coordinate Job Aid Reviews.
- Process Improvements – Improve SharePoint driven communication methods by templatizing both standard and custom announcements for CAS business units. Drive Virtual Advisor Content Enhancements to improve client and advisor experience.

In this role, you will:
- Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects. Accountabilities can and may include areas such as research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, as well as technology enhancements and support.
- Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events.
- Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program.
- Be assigned a project, designed to improve a specific process or solve a problem that you will present at the close of the internship.
- Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with the division leader and other key stakeholders in the company to outline your accomplishments and experience during the internship
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program)
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
Preferred qualifications:
- 3.0 minimum GPA
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Possess a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Proficiency with Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Excel.
- SharePoint and workflow automation are a plus but not required.
