Job Description
Global Philanthropy seeks to fill the role of a U.S. Market - Central Region Intern located in the Chicago, IL office. This individual will partner with Regional Philanthropy members at a critical time in the team’s strategic growth and evolution to advance initiatives. They will assist in the execution of research and implementation of strategies that drive inclusive economic growth. The U.S. Market - Central Region Intern will report to one or more Regional Philanthropy Lead(s).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Developing Assets - PowerPoints presentations, summaries, articles, agendas, etc.
Project and Topical Research to support strategy development
Supporting local partnerships by coordinating group meetings, agendas, and related collateral
1-2 Capstone projects that will culminate in a final presentation and/or report
QUALIFICATIONS
Field of study in areas equivalent or similar to Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning preferred
Experience in Tableau
Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring both routine and urgent tasks are completed successfully and in a thorough and timely manner
Experience applying significant discretion to sensitive or confidential information
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to maintain open communication with global colleagues
Team player mindset with the ability and organization to multitask and help colleagues as needed
Experience in with supporting executives in grant making or non-profit programming a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
