  • Responsibilities

    The Enhanced Information Center (EIC) Analyst is a key person responsible for computing risk scores on North American corporates in support of underwriting decisions in the service of a global clientele.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Gathering and analyzing operational and financial information of private American and Canadian corporations derived from correspondence and interviews of company principals.

    • Contacting CFO’s and other Finance executives presiding over the businesses buying from our clients.

    • Establishing with these individuals Coface’s role in their trade dealings and nurturing a secure line of communication to support existing and future credit limits.

    • Reviewing articles in the press, public records, and credit reports for a three dimensional picture of the company and its group.

    • Using online and other resources to gather pertinent information to construct or update database links.

    • Following articles and notices issued by our information suppliers regarding mergers and acquisitions and updating the database links.

    • Conducting on-site interviews (“buyer visits”) of corporate executives who are willing to share financial details with Coface on a confidential basis for the purpose of risk assessment.

    • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

    • Knowledge of Excel.

    • Ability to work independently toward monthly goals and quotas.

    • Strong organization and multi-tasking capability.

    • Willingness to travel within the United States.

    Education and Training:

    • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Finance Work experience (and Internships) in the finance field desirable
