    Accounts Receivable Specialist Delta Dental 529 reviews - Alpharetta, GA The Accounts Receivables Specialist responsibility is to respond to basic client inquiries and other clerical tasks related to maintaining the accounts receivable records, preparing customer and monthly receivable statements, calculate and post receipts of transactions, work with collections on status of delinquent accounts and provides backup support to the accounting and enrollment or billing departments. How you will make an impact: * Process daily lockbox batches (payment application) duties for groups, including any necessary account research. * Post ACH or wire batches daily for groups * Review daily group account activity to research any unusual activity and resolve issues * Apply credit or debit memos to group accounts as necessary, including: Researching variances and properly posting amounts to group balances. * Provide email and phone support to groups (internal and external) regarding their account balances, payment history and online account setup. * Generate invoice claims files for claims billing and submit to groups. Typically this is performed on a 10-day cycle. * Run monthly billings process. * Perform month-end close process, including: Billing customers and reviewing un-applied or open balances. * Monitor accounts receivable and open balances from groups. Send past-due notices if necessary. * Run delinquency report of groups with past due balances.
