    Arundel Federal Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Deposit Operations Supervisor to support daily operational functions, lead staff, and ensure accurate, efficient delivery of deposit-related services. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, deep deposit operations knowledge, and experience with digital banking and remote delivery channels.

    This back-office role supports the Director of Deposit Operations in directing, coaching, and overseeing daily departmental operations, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to established routines, procedures, policies, and practices. The position requires flexibility, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The Deposit Operations Supervisor will rotate through, train, and provide coverage across a variety of functional areas including Digital Banking, Exception Item Processing, customer support, and branch support activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise Deposit Operations staff; assign work and coach team members.

    Oversee daily deposit operations, reconcilements, and system processes.

    Support digital banking, mobile/online channels, debit card platforms, and exception item processing.

    Manage workflows, improve processes, and ensure compliance with regulations including BSA, OFAC, CIP, and ACH rules.

    Analyze operational data and collaborate with management to enhance efficiency.

    Assist with audits, vendor relationships, fraud monitoring, and project implementations.

    Resolve escalated customer issues and support branch operations as needed.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma required; Associate’s preferred.

    6–8 years of deposit operations experience.

    Experience with digital/remote banking platforms and debit card systems required.

    Prior supervisory or project lead experience preferred.

    Strong knowledge of deposit regulations and ACH rules.

    Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software.
