    The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels.     The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. Within USCM, the Marketing, Membership & Investment Optimization (MMIO) delivers data-driven decision making, analytics & business planning to drive profitable growth through personalization strategy and optimized investment decisions.

    Director, US Consumer CXO Experimentation Analyticsas part of MMIO team will beresponsible for driving profitable acquisition growth by enabling data-driven decision-making across marketing funnel on back of robust test and learn approach. The incumbent will define and scale modern experimentation practices that goes beyond A/B testing-integrating incrementality, causal inference, and discovery analytics to inform business decisions, and work in partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise, to further acquisition use cases with superior customer experience.

    This role is uniquely positioned to leverage a variety of skills including data analytics, experimentation, digital marketing, and partner collaboration. Building and leveraging strong relationships across Marketing, Product, Analytics, and other teams is essential. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual who has demonstrated sound leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn new things quickly in a dynamic digital landscape.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish a prioritized experimentation roadmap aligned to growth, quality, and customer lifetime value.
    • Partner with CXO stakeholders to align experimentation with strategic business bets
    • Build best in class experimentation & measurement framework, including scaling of experimentation capabilities.
    • Develop and foster cross functional relationships with partners across American Express to ensure project prioritization and implementation.
    • Drive best in class customer experience, along with maximizing value from acquisitions.
    • Analyzing performance of current initiatives, share findings and solutions.
    • Stay current on digital landscape changes and competitive trends.
    • Manage a team of highly motivated individuals and coach to establish a culture of hypothesis based thinking grounded in rapid experimentation cycle.
    • Work in a dynamic, fast changing environment, with attention to detail and effective communication skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong ability to drive results; self-starter.
    • Expertise in application of analytics (applied statistics/quantitative methods) for solving business problems.
    • Prior experience in defining & leading roadmap is a plus.
    • Ability to multi-task, operate effectively under changing conditions and prioritize initiatives based on business objectives.
    • Excellent collaborator with ability to effectively lead and drive.
    • Strong people leader - proven track record of developing strong talent & building diverse teams.
    • MBA or equivalent degree in economics, statistics, finance, mathematics, etc.

    Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
