The American Express Global Dining team sits within the USCS organization. Our mission is to connect the world’s best restaurants with the world’s best customers through a trusted and innovative global Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, built on the promise of access and unforgettable experiences.
Our SaaS platforms offer a wide range of features and functionality, managing reservations and tables, and tracking guest and restaurant data to help restaurants deliver the best hospitality to diners. We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Product, Demand Generation to define and evolve the systems, channels, and capabilities that fuel discovery, engagement, and ongoing value across the Resy consumer ecosystem. You will shape how demand generation surfaces work together to create meaningful outcomes for diners and restaurants, ensuring our platform delivers cohesive, high-impact user experiences that drive sustainable growth.
In this role, you will lead the Demand Generation Product team and oversee a broad portfolio spanning channels, growth tooling, and foundational platform capabilities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable experiences that address current needs and create pathways for future opportunities including loyalty, rewards, and personalized engagement. This role reports to a VP of Product.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Lead the Demand Generation Product Team: Manage and mentor PMs, fostering a culture of strong product judgment, operational rigor, and collaborative execution.
**Set & Communicate Demand Generation Strategy: **Define how DG channels and platform capabilities combine to deliver value across the ecosystem, ensuring alignment with company priorities and long-term consumer experience goals.
Drive Cross-Channel & System-Level Thinking: Oversee targeting, messaging, experimentation, and operational systems to ensure the DG platform is scalable, resilient, and built to support evolving growth opportunities.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Consumer, Restaurant, and Integrations Product, Marketing, Data, and Engineering teams to ensure DG channels integrate seamlessly within broader user journeys and product experiences.
Deliver Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end delivery across DG channels and platform capabilities, ensuring polished launches, measurable outcomes, and a consistent user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
* 6+ years in Product Management, including 2+ years managing PMs, ideally within consumer or platform-oriented environments
* Ability to connect demand generation strategy with underlying systems and data architecture to drive cohesive, cross-channel decisions
* Experience building and scaling growth platforms such as targeting, messaging, experimentation, or channel delivery systems
* Strong understanding of demand generation concepts, multi-channel activation, and performance optimization across the consumer lifecycle
* Technical fluency with system design, data flows, experimentation frameworks, and performance trade-offs
* Skilled at managing complex dependencies, prioritizing effectively, and making data-informed decisions
* Clear and persuasive communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
* Passionate about hospitality, technology, and creating exceptional consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with consumer engagement or growth platforms, including personalization, segmentation, or marketing technology
* Familiarity with loyalty, rewards, or other incentive-driven engagement models
* Demonstrated success developing Product Managers and maturing product organization practices
* Experience in hospitality, dining, travel, or marketplace products
Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
