    THE ROLE

    In this exciting role as an Intern within the Actuarial Delivery Group (also referred to as ADG), you will contribute, as part of a team, in the areas of retirement plan valuations, design, compliance, and risk and financial management for all types of retirement plans including defined benefit, defined contribution and retiree medical. Given the size and complexity of our client portfolio, you will have the opportunity to support diverse projects that help organizations align their retirement programs to their company objectives.

    IN THIS ROLE AT WTW, YOU WILL:

    • Perform necessary calculations or actuarial analysis on a wide variety of routine and special projects

    • Manage and prioritize own workload efficiently to fulfill commitments on time and meeting professional excellence standards

    • Communicate effectively with all team members, manage expectations and raise issues as appropriate

    • Work independently and utilize available resources to develop technical skills

    • Work with a variety of colleagues gaining exposure to different work styles

    • Learn about WTW career paths to ensure you can progress within the company based on your own skills and interests

    • Have robust learning and development opportunities including formal and on the job trainings, rotation and mentorship programs

    ABOUT YOU.

    • College student (at least sophomore), with heavy quantitative emphasis such as majors in mathematics and statistics

    • Seeking candidates who are not interested in writing future actuarial exams

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

    • Aptitude to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
