    The Business

    Create your future. The Climate Practice builds on existing expertise across our business, geographies and corporate functions to enable colleagues to help clients manage their climate risks and seize the opportunities of an orderly transition to a low carbon, resilient economy.

    Explore an opportunity. As an Intern, you would be joining a team of industry leading experts spanning across the fields of insurance, science and engineering with the aim of providing unrivalled analytical climate risk services.

    You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your understanding of climate risk, and how clients can understand, quantify, and manage that risk. You will gain an understanding of how data, analytics and advisory supports this process. You will be expected to help create PowerPoint presentations to support business development efforts and client conversations. You will be asked to read Sustainability reports of prospective clients to inform our understanding of client needs, and draw insights from the reports to help shape our value proposition. You will support the leader of our NA Climate Practice in supporting clients, developing solutions and growing the business. You will need to be flexible and efficient.

    Love your work. You will partner with consultants to provide support on projects through :

    • Supporting with business development and project delivery
    • Developing PowerPoint Presentations
    • Conducting client research, educating the team and drawing insights to inform value prop
    • Tracking client opportunities in Excel
    • Testing technology solutions

    About you.

    • Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, climate, mathematics, statistics , finance, actuarial science or any other major with quantitative or climate-focused course work with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
    • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client
    • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
    • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship
    • Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree between December 2024 through June 2026

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation

    The hourly rate being offered for this role is $22-24/hr. USD.
    This role is also eligible for over-time.
