    Summary of Role. The Intern will support customer service and sales for our domestic, multinational, and mid-market clients. Role will support our Sales and Client Care teams to respond to inbound calls/queries and generate leads through outbound calling/marketing campaigns. This position requires an interest in product sales and servicing experience, self-motivation. Sales experience desired but not required. Intern position will provide training of our Rewards Data Intelligence (RDI) business. That is understanding of how survey data influences compensation planning, reward benchmarking and how to respond to RDI/Work and Rewards (W&R)/Software sales opportunities. The individual will work with Client Facing teams and Survey Management teams to help support our online RDI Store and provide support including but not limited to Participation, Pricing and Order Fulfillment.

    The Role.

    Relationship Building & Client Servicing

    • Understand the participation and order process for both domestic and mid-market clients/prospects through order solicitation, marketing campaigns, personalized email campaigns and upsell/cross sell
    • Get a basic understanding of job matching, data submission and demos/training
    • Manages RDI’s e-commerce platform (the RDI Store) to respond to questions/issues as needed
    • Supports RDI Industry Teams to follow-up with key targets for participation and orders

    Identifying and learning about sales and creating opportunities

    • Executes special sales campaigns, upselling products & outbound sales calls
    • Identifies sales opportunities then fields to the correct team
    • Set appointments for sales teams

    Survey Development

    • Partners with marketing/other RDI teams to develop/execute campaigns to target participants/product sales
    • Collaborates and seeks out synergies to help teams achieve common goals/objectives in specific industries

    Training and Development

    • Supports team in learning product, job match and solution focused conversations as required
    • Supports team to learn about sales, customer service, marketing, and reward products

    About you.

    • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, economics, finance, mathematics or any other major with significant quantitative, business course work, and minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Experience in a corporate environment, selling and/or delivering high level customer service is a plus
    • Experience in sales, maintaining and growing client relationships is a plus
    • Excellent listener - able to probe, understand the issues, and respond with correct solutions
    • Desirable - sales experience, analytical skills, and attention to detail
    • Must be strongly team orientated, curious and have a growth mindset
    • Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between December 2023 and May 2026
    • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship
    • Internship will run through July and August

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

    Compensation

    The hourly rate being offered for this role is $20 - $22 per hour. This role is also eligible for over-time.
