We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Agile team. You will primarily be using C#, Angular, SQL Server and Azure technologies. You should value expertise and have a passion for the craft of Software Engineering.
THE ROLE
We are a group of passionate Software Engineers that have built the award-winning “Benefits Access” web portal in addition to other customer-facing products for a global audience. We have a focus on continuous improvement that extends to both the software we write and the culture we promote. We build a platform to provide the best possible support to our customers shopping for benefits, where our carrier partners can be confident their products are represented accurately and unbiased.
In this role you will:
Learn how to build and deploy software primarily using C#, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Gain the skills necessary to be a full-stack engineer
Help improve the quality of software by writing automated tests and performing code reviews
Work and communicate effectively in an agile team environment
ABOUT YOU.
We’re looking for individuals who love building software. You should have a willingness to learn and apply new things. Ideal candidates are passionate about learning new technologies.
You will also meet the following requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Experience in web, mobile, or desktop application development preferred
Experience with C#, Visual Basic, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages preferred
Experience with JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, or other client-side technologies preferred
Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational database design preferred
A willingness to learn the principals of software development methodologies, design approaches, and patterns.
Consider testing an important discipline while writing software
Accept ownership of your work and overall projects

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.
COMPENSATION
The hourly rate being offered for this role is between $25.00 - $30.00. This role is also eligible for over-time.
