    Position Summary: ****

    We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Snowflake and Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust business intelligence solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and proficiency in leveraging Snowflake as the data warehouse solution and Power BI for reporting and visualization.

    Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    Data Modeling and Architecture:

    · Design and implement efficient and scalable data models within Snowflake to support business requirements.

    · Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to ensure data structures align with organizational needs.

    ETL Development:

    · Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake from various source systems.

    · Ensure data quality and accuracy throughout the ETL lifecycle.

    Snowflake Administration:

    · Manage and administer Snowflake accounts, including user access, security, and performance optimization.

    · Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Snowflake data warehouse.

    Power BI Development:

    · Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.

    · Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.

    Optimization:

    · Identify and implement optimizations for query performance within Snowflake and Power BI.

    · Continuously evaluate and enhance the efficiency of data retrieval and visualization processes.

    · Continuously assess and manage software, report, and query performance to control cloud spending costs.

    Collaboration and Documentation:

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data scientists, to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve anomalies in data, data standardization, data consistency, and naming of data.

    · Maintain thorough documentation of data models, ETL processes, data dictionaries, and Power BI reports.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    ** Education:**

    · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related relevant fields is preferred.

    · Work experience demonstrating mastery of equivalent knowledge as would be obtained through these fields will be considered.

    Preferred Qualifications: ****

    • Snowflake or Power BI expertise and experience; or related experience with similar technologies such as Microstrategy, Analysis Services, Power Pivot, Tableau, Cognos
    • Retail industry experience of at least 5 years (Consulting, Full-time, etc.) with a strong preference for prior experience in specialty women’s apparel.
    • Knowledge of other BI tools and data visualization techniques.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
    • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies.
    • Experience in client handling and communication with multiple stake holders

    The hiring salary range for this role is $125k- $140k/Yr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.
