    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Coordinate the logistics processes and carrier relationships, leveraging the best cost, on time delivery; ensure compliance and meeting social, environmental goals. Ensure that all legislation, regulatory and other requirements relating to the importation and exportation of commercial shipments are met.

     

    Ensure timely flow of import & domestic products through import/export process: Customs clearance and delivery to EF Distribution Center, 3PL’s, Global Accounts and Stores; pre- and post- entry compliance with customs and OGA (Other Governmental Agencies).

    The position can be based in Irvington, NY or Secaucus, NJ.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Logistics | | | | - Facilitate shipments of materials and finished goods from production | | locations to designated locations by EF | | - Management of Air and Sea shipment bookings | | - Negotiate rates and service levels | | - Create and maintain transit tables for all origins all modes of | | transportation | | - Manage relationship with freight service providers | | - Explore Logistics strategies for new and emerging markets | | - Analyze freight data to find cost saving opportunities | | - Arrangement of transportation for sea, air and truck shipments | | - Shipment track & trace, and making delivery arrangements | | - Resolve in transit operational issues | | - Ensure on time delivery | | - Manage processing of shipments in ERP system. | | - Ensure packing lists are processed timely and accurately | | - Monitor EDI ASN for errors, troubleshoot with origin, internal | | teams and IT for solution | | - Actively communicate with all outside vendors for unknown | | delivery dates. | | - Direct connection with Freight Forwarders, Couriers, Customs Broker | | and Trucking companies. | | - Receive, review, approve and voucher freight, duty and | | trucking invoices. | | | |   | | | | Trade/ Customs Compliance | | | | - Assist with Seasonal Line Review, including HTS Classification and | | NAFTA/TPL updates in ERP. | | - Pre/Post-audit of all import documentation to ensure | | regulatory compliance. | | - Assist with Duty Drawback & First Sale transactions and other | | compliance projects. | | | |   | | | | Administrative | | | | - Filing & clerical duties as needed. | | - Data entry into ERP system. | | - Other related duties and assignments as required. | | | |   | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

    Required Skills Required Experience
