Element 6 is currently seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our Software Product industry client here in downtown Milwaukee, WI!

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Software Engineer will be developing high-performance backend systems in .NET Core, and leverage VueJS to create flexible, beautiful, and accessible frontend applications. The team is comprised of developers who share an underlying passion for technology and continuous learning. They are joined in overcoming challenges, mitigate risks, navigate bugs, and make technical decisions. The practice fundamental Agile SDLC in promoting creative problem-solving, collaboration, and peer-to-peer mentorship/knowledge pollination.

Here, you will learn and continue to grow your skills in both greenfield application builds and feature development and enhancements to existing products and be involved from hands-on coding to assisting in architectural design. Successful Software Engineers on the team are highly collaborative, constructive problem solvers, who are driven to build quality end products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Natural facilitator
• Curiosity
• An intrinsic drive to solve problems
• Passionate about building software
• Either having led a team or looking to gain leadership skills and experience
• Strong communication skills, both technically and non-technically.
• 3, 5 years or more of focus on web applications, web services, and backend development.
• Comfortable in both new software builds and supporting existing technology.
• Experience delivering projects to stakeholders
• Previous experience in .NET Core and/or .NET Framework
• Hands-on experience in frontend development with JavaScript Framework technologies (.JS Framework).
