    We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Employee Relations Consultant.

    The Employee Relations Consultant is responsible for a range of employee relations activities, which may include providing advice to managers, resolving issues and/or general complaints, providing guidance on business change activities and Human Resources Policy, and taking the lead a variety of important Employee Relations projects.

    This role will be located within the Human Resources function on the Employee Relations Team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Employee Relations.

    Here is what you can expect:

    As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will spend most of your time managing Employee Relations processes and projects. Your responsibilities will likely include:

    • Provide advice and guidance on the business change process, HR Policy & Procedures as well as provide support to various other Employee Relations activities

    • Provide support to the Employee Relations Process for ensuring new laws and regulations related to people risk are up to date across the US bank

    • Create analyze Employee Relations case data and develop reporting to support investigations and other Employee Relations activities

    • Directly handle complaints that are raised through various internal complaint channels by conducting internal investigations, conducting culture assessments, and helping to facilitate resolutions to employee conflicts

    For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $96,900.00 and $145,300.00

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Requirements

    Employment elegibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

    You will likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • Sufficient experience working in roles within HR Advisory, Employee Relations, or HR Operations

    • Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and procedures

    • Strong collaborations skills, including the ability to work with others to move work and projects forward, as well as the ability to work independently

    • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to see the bigger picture while paying attention to detail

    • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel and PowerPoint

    • Some experience working with data sets, including conducting basic data analysis to draw conclusions
