Overview The Engineering Intern will integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional workplace. The Intern will utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to complete project based work assignments with an emphasis on Engineering. Responsibilities Research and collect aircraft and component data from a variety of resources to meet standard and ad hoc analysis. Perform analysis and research of industry service documents and recommend actions. Assist with drafting of Engineering Orders and other engineering documents in order to maintain aircraft. Computer work, in a typical office environment sitting for the majority of the day. Other work as necessary assigned by manager. Qualifications Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program with a focus in Engineering or related program, with junior or senior class standing as of fall 2018. Ability to work a full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, during normal business hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm, during the assigned schedule Ability to work and be based in Minneapolis, MN Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business environment Above average written and communication skills Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office Suite Effective organizational, time management, & multi-tasking skills Prior analytical experience (data analysis/reporting) or database management experience preferred Repetitive motion such as typing Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs. Travel as necessary
