**Energy Research & Product Development Intern- Summer **

Description

• CME Group is currently looking for a summer intern to provide support for the Energy Research & Product Development team in New York City.
• This candidate will assist the team with data analysis, report generation and ad-hoc projects. The intern will also manage their own research project.

Principal Responsibilities

• Researching new market sectors and trends within the overall energy markets.
• Assisting analysts on day-to-day tasks as well as ad-hoc projects.
• Presenting results in various formats - written, visual etc.

Qualifications

• Proficient with data management
• Knowledge of financial instruments and/or commodities
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Education

• Currently pursuing a BS or BA in finance or business-related degree.

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
