Job Description The Community Education Coordinator will help put Ent's mission statement into action by providing financial education to members, employees, and our community. Through collaboration among Community Education, Business Development and other stakeholders, you will create courses, make recommendations and assist with research, design, development and execution of educational curriculum. Ent Credit Union is well known and loved in southern Colorado, and we are looking for a talented individual to fuel our growth by engaging and teaching on topics that will improve financial lives in our newer communities across the Front Range. By educating the community on financial wellness, you impact the on-going efforts to be the primary source of free financial education tools in the state of Colorado.
Qualifications
Presentations for the Community and Business Partners
Present curriculum and materials to community groups and businesses identified as Business Partners by Business Development
Assist Business Development in answering questions and providing solutions for the community while adhering to Ent standards
Collaborate with Business Development for presentations, workshops, and community events
Research and implement engaging presentation styles to create an engaging and welcoming environment for the community
Develop, design, and improve effective financial education materials and tools:
Develop and maintain effective content and materials.
Maintain and continuously refresh innovative materials to be strategically packaged and delivered to Business Partners, staff, members, and community groups through tactical research, surveys, web analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders:
Prospect, create, and maintain relationships with key community leaders and groups who desire financial education presentations
Work closely with key stakeholders, involving them in planning and problem solving
Recruit and engage Community Educators
Assist the Community Education Program Lead with training and coaching Community Educators
Ensure CE's capacity to work with various groups within reasonable times
Collaboration with Digital marketing for continuity between in-person, online, and social media offerings

MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience TECHNICAL OR SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
ENVIRONMENTAL, PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. Must be flexible with schedule to work overtime as needed based on demands of the membership. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Salary range for this position: S14_ $54,912.00 to $72,072.00_
This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on performance.
