Enterprise Operations provides leadership and strategy for operational risks — including business resiliency, information and payment risks. This group aims to improve the quality of activities, such as prioritizing investments and partnering with the second line of defense to develop policy and standards. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate between two Enterprise Operations groups – Business Process Management and Risk & Controls.
Business Process Management
The Enterprise Operations Business Process Management group is responsible for providing a framework against which Business Resiliency identifies and manages critical processes. The team develops and governs enterprise-wide, business process architecture that is enriched with operational and technical data. Additionally, BPM manages the visualization of this process data through an analytics platform in order to strengthen areas such as technology delivery, portfolio prioritization and strategy execution.
Risk & Controls
The Enterprise Operations Risk & Controls group is responsible for a) managing risk and controls with respect to the firm’s operations and financial statements by ensuring that adequate controls, risk reporting and analysis are in place, b) maximizing preparedness for business continuity as well as change management, and c) monitor control compliance and the prevalent risk environment to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels; where necessary, work with other risk functions to develop and implement controls that mitigate these risks.
