Position Summary:

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our growing recruiting team. Our recruiters are responsible for screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various different departments within our company.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
• Post openings with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

Utilize the Internet for recruitment.

• Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
• Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
• Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
• Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

Assist with HR administrative items – assist in managing the onboarding process.

• I9 process.
• First day start paperwork (tax forms, emergency contact etc.
• Data entry into ADP WorkforceNow.
• Partner with HR team to develop and implement a management development training program for TL, Supervisors, and Managers.
• Partner with the Recruiting team to hire.
• Phone screen candidates.
• Conduct reference checks.
• Other duties as required.

• Completed BS/BA degree in Human Resources/Labor Relations or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)– Adept at dealing with social/emotional conflicts.
• Organized and extremely detail-oriented.
• Basic understanding of employment law.
• Must be able to work full time in NYC Financial District.

Desired:

• 1-2 years of experience with high volume recruiting.
