Equality Health’s Internship Program is focused on inspiring the next generation of healthcare rebels while providing an opportunity to hire, mentor, and develop young adults in our community. The duration of this program will be eight (8) weeks, during the summer months of June through August 2021. During this time, each intern will focus on a department specific project while being educated on current healthcare and technology industry trends.
The PRODUCT ANALYST INTERN will gain a strong foundational knowledge and exposure to market and competitive research and analysis related to the technology products offered by Equality Health. Providing an understanding of market demands and competitive landscape will assist in shaping the development roadmap.
PROJECT(S) AND ACTIVITIES:
- Support the Product team in developing the high-level product strategy and roadmap for Equality Health’s technology suite.
- Survey users within and outside of Equality Health, and document business requirements that align with high-level product strategy and incorporate end-user feedback.
- Partner with business analysis and project management teams as needed to ensure effective delivery against the technology roadmap.
- Engage in ongoing market research initiatives to define competitive differentiation for Equality Health and its technology offerings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; highly collaborative team approach to work
- Undergraduate or graduate student, must have at least 2 years of college completed (4 full semesters)
- At a minimum a candidate should be entering their Junior year of college
- Major focus should be business, economics, or computer science
- Be actively enrolled in a college or university program
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based technologies
