The Opportunity:

Complete work orders, Facilities & Services project tasks and management requests as assigned. Support the daily operations of all facets of the department and maintain the good working condition, cleanliness and positive appearance of all DFCU Financial locations, vehicles and equipment. Perform facilities related repairs such as, but not limited to, changing lights/ballasts, repairing furniture, repairing plumbing leaks, etc. Move furniture and heavy items between branch locations, perform manual exterior tasks related to parking lot and grounds. Open and close headquarters; support and adhere to established security program for all locations. Complete errands and tasks as requested by management.

Part-time hours totaling approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, shift ending at 6pm.

Secondary Job Duties:

• Monitor vendors at all DFCU Financial locations as assigned
• Provide vendors with building access during and outside of business hours
• Transport various materials (e.g., department mail, packages to and from vendors, purchase materials/items, etc.)

Special Working Conditions:

• Evening, weekend, holiday and overtime hours, as required
• Work shift may be modified to support organization needs
• Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive lifting
• Exposure to inclement weather
• Subject to random drug tests
• Compliance with DFCU Financial vehicle policy and procedures
• Compliance with Facilities & Services dress code
• Travel between locations required; use of personal vehicle may be required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to perform general carpentry, plumbing and light electrical repairs
• Valid Michigan driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to move up to 80 lbs. multiple times
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize requests
• Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude
• Ability to verbally communicate appropriately with others and appropriately respond to a supervisor
