Job Description

The Marketing Web Developer position will collaborate with the marketing web team, IT Operations, and stakeholders to build, optimize, and maintain various web initiatives while aligning with other digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design, create, and modify websites for the organization while accomplishing marketing goals
• Create user interfaces and design layout pages that are engaging, innovative, and user friendly
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
• Create back end code and interfaces for new web platforms that are developed
• Analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
• Leads database creations and management
• Integrate web sites with other computer applications
• Keep up to date on web developments and trends

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Participates in and leads proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Solid knowledge and understanding of commonly-used design and creative concepts, practices and procedures.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office design and other Mac software.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of project management and ticketing systems.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of illustration and art-directing photo shoots.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of various media such as web, social media ad design, video, interactive, branded email marketing, etc.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of creative, advertising, marketing strategy and promotion.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of organizing people, tasks, and activities to yield efficient work flow
• Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service and interpersonal best practices

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 4 to 6 years of experience in web application development
• Demonstrated experience of strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience working well autonomously and with others using tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated experience of successfully managing concurrent projects
• Demonstrated experience producing accurate and detailed work on multiple projects under time pressure
• Demonstrated experience of strong attention to detail throughout revisions and final approvals
• Demonstrated experience of excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
