The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from origination to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations. Responsibilities: Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval Assure that loan files meet banking and regulatory guidelines and policies Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system • The Loan Processor position supports one or more Loan Officers by ensuring loan files are complete and loans close as scheduled • Works with escrow to obtain all items necessary for disclosure e.g. estimated HUD, preliminary title report, closing protection letter, and wire instructions • Package and submit complete files to operations through the Encompass program • Prepares doc request and submits to Loan Coordinator • Arranges to sign for a borrower with the Escrow Officer Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans required 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required • High School diploma or equivalent Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
