    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

    The VP – Talent Management Lifecycle reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO. This leader is responsible for developing and executing the talent management lifecycle and providing internal consulting across the full suite of talent programs: talent acquisition, talent enablement and learning and development to attract, motivate and retain our human capital.

    This officer is a key advisor to our C Suite and senior management on all talent management matters and sets the strategy on attracting, assessing, hiring, and retaining top talent that will enable the company to meet its strategic goals and objectives. This position is directly responsible for the Talent Acquisition, Fannie Mae University (L&D), and Talent Management centers of excellence within Human Resources.

    The Talent Management Lifecycle - VP role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Work with the CAO and the Talent Lifecyle leaders to design, develop, and implement an enterprise-wide talent strategy that has alignment to the business and can provide measurable results
    • In conjunction with the VP, Talent Acquisition, develop an innovative and highly effective talent attraction and acquisition strategy, building the necessary infrastructure and operating model to build a sustainable pipeline of qualified executive and non-executive candidates
    • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends impacting the talent space, ensuring Fannie Mae is able to embrace and deliver cutting-edge practices
    • Build and lead Fannie Mae's Employment Brand and Recruiting marketing strategy, with guidance from the Corporate Marketing & Communications team and appropriate vendors
    • With our VP & Chief Learning Officer, develop and continuously refresh the learning and development strategy that ties to the Company's broader talent and business strategies
    • Ensure quality and consistency of training across Fannie Mae and drive delivery
    • Create, implement, and support the governance of technical change management initiatives in partnership with the VP – Head of Human Capital Consulting and the other centers of excellence
    • Build a Career Pathing and Visioning framework, aligned to the corporate Talent Architecture, in partnership with the VP – Head of Human Capital Consulting and C Suite
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Lifecycle professionals to ensure effective results and performance
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    • 15 or more years of related experience with 10 years in a leadership role focused on talent or HR Business Partnerships
    • Leadership experienced focused on talent at a complex organization with a highly professional employee population; ideally having worked in one of the following industries: financial services, life sciences, technology, professional services, or consumer goods/services
    • 7+ years of managing large teams and managing managers; creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives
    • Deep knowledge and experience in the talent lifecycle inclusive of the following areas: Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement/Management, Learning, Performance Management Succession or Employment Branding
    • Established skills in the following areas: data analysis, budgeting/financial management, program evaluation, risk assessment and management, training, and project management
    • Strong influencing skills, established executive presence, and a customer/client orientation
    • Strategic acumen and operational planning, the foresight to build multi-year strategic roadmaps as well as execute
    • A passion and background focused on diversity and inclusion
    • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
