Job Description

As a valued colleague on Single Family Products and Solutions team, you will provide expert advice to and guide the team in building, developing, or designing functionality for a product, as well as guide and ensure the ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products.

The Product Owner role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Support development of the design strategy for new products.
• Implement the process for new products.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Manage the product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure product strategy is in alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

• 2 years relevant professional experience
• Strong experience working within Agile (Scrum) development practices
• Experience writing and accepting user stories using Gherkin method
• Able to convert business requirements into clear and detailed functional requirements
• Expertise managing product backlogs
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
• Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

Desired Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Familiar with mortgage credit pricing and Capital Markets a plus
• Familiar with Scaled Agile Methodology
• Understanding of designing and developing modern web applications, services and APIs
• Understanding of Cloud platform concepts (AWS), development, and networking platforms
• Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
• Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
• Skillful facilitator with demonstrated ability to challenge and intervene as needed
• Experience using JIRA
• Experience using Confluence
