    Job Description As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise on overseeing and governing Fannie Mae's operational effectiveness and efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The SOX – PROGRAM GOVERNANCE - ADVISOR role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    · Devise and implement the long-term strategy of the Company’s SOX Program in order to continue to successfully meet the increasing expectations of the Regulators

    · Design and streamline internal processes, leveraging technology where possible, to allow the SOX Program Management Office (PMO) team to execute in the most efficient and effective manner possible

    · Support and educate key stakeholders across the Enterprise on proper risk management and internal controls expectations as the Company rapidly evolves in the pursuit of its strategic objectives

    · Represent the interests of the SOX PMO team in various forums across the Company and ensure effective communication and coordination occurs across the three lines of defense

    · Support the SOX PMO and Finance Operational Risk Management teams with certain Corporate Strategic Initiatives (SIs) when warranted

    Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCES

    · 6 years of related experience

    · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

    · Extensive working knowledge of a SOX, Internal Audit, or Second Line of Defense oversight function

    · Strong written and oral communication skills

    · Ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the organization

    · Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple high-priority tasks

    · Strong consulting and influencing skills to work effectively at all levels and gain stakeholder buy-in. Prior demonstrated success managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationships networks, contracting, etc. Skilled at influencing, negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings and resolving conflict

    · Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and able to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction. Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion

    DESIRED EXPERIENCES

    · Relevant consulting experience developing and implementing strategic changes to a Company’s SOX program or similar function

    · Meaningful prior experience working closely with a Company’s internal and external auditors and Regulators to ensure expectations were consistently met

    · Prior experience developing, conducting, and evaluating technical training, both classroom and e-learning based

    · Meaningful prior experience with internal process modeling, process design/redesign and implementation, etc.

    · Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in an effort to meet strategic objectives

    · Prior experience creating policies, soliciting review, educating stakeholders and evaluating compliance

    · A history of successfully working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

    · Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Information Systems preferred

    · CIA, CISA or equivalent certification(s) preferred

    · Familiar with ARIS Express, RiskWorks, Workiva (Wdesk) and the Microsoft product suite preferred
