    Job Description

    As a valued leader on our team, you will manage a team who is responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives.  The Marketing and Communications - Marketing Strategy - Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Drive alignment of Single-Family Marketing strategy and execution to support SF business priorities.
    • Manage daily activities of a cross-functional marketing team, including other marketing strategy SMEs, web, social, PR and segment leads. Foster strong working relationship within department and beyond, including key product and program teams, as well legal, privacy and fair lending stakeholders.
    • Translate complex mortgage policy and programs to help drive tangible business outcomes by partnering with external agency partners and research firms.
    • Serve as primary contact to execute, report and drive in-market differentiation via marketing and related outreach programs. .
    • Manage continuous improvement of marketing planning and measurement in support of mortgage product innovation strategies.
    • Identify and create business opportunities. Consult with current and potential external partners in developing B2B and B2C marketing programs, messaging and key deliverables.
    • Negotiate and develop strategic partnerships. Strengthen and build internal and external relationships.
    • Establish and monitor adherence to guidelines for developing and implementing marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
    • Ensure the team stays informed of changes in the marketing environment.
    • Motivate agency partners to deliver top quality marketing collateral, messaging and strategic frameworks in a timely manner within budget parameters.

    MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • 8-10 years
    • Managerial experience

     

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • Masters or relevant graduate degree a plus
    • Financial/Mortgage industry experience a plus
    • Multicultural marketing experience a plus

    SKILLS

    • Execute outreach, positioning and marketing strategy to align with mortgage product innovation opportunities
    • Manage product marketing innovation portfolio to achieve Single Family business goals
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving decisions and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • Experienced team leader
    • Adept at managing project plans, deadlines, cross-functional resources, and people to ensure successful project completion, on budget and on time.
    • End-to end marketing strategy and multi-channel execution experience and ability to optimize campaigns based on results (emphasis in digital channels)
    • The group of skills related to Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
    • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
    • Detail-oriented, independent and motivated individual who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision.

    TOOLS

    • Skilled in Excel, Power Point and Word
    • Experience using SharePoint
    • Experience using Microsoft Teams
