Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to designing, producing, testing, or implementing routine or foundational software, technology, or processes, as well as contribute to creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The SF TECHNOLOGY - SOFTWARE ENGINEERING - ASSOCIATE role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Gather and document information about the needs of the customer and create preliminary solution frameworks.
• Under the guidance of management, design and develop software solutions to meet needs.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of process-driven approach in designing solutions.
• Collaborate with senior staff to implement new software technology.
• Maintain existing software using standard methods, practices, and precedents.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Desired Experiences

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• A solid understanding of Agile delivery methodology.
• Skilled at object-oriented design with advanced knowledge of Java. 
• Experience in Salesforce Administration – Lightning, Security and Development in Apex, SOQL queries..
• At least one certification in Salesforce (such as Salesforce Developer, Admin, Cloud Consultant etc.) highly preferred

SKILLS

• Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
• Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions 
• Expertise in developing websites for hosting via intranet or Internet, which may also include web design, web content development, scripting, and/or network security configuration
• Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version
• Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
• Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
• Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
• Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
• Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
• Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.

• Skilled in Jenkins
• Skilled in using UNIX
• Skilled in JavaScript
• Experience using JIRA
• Experience using APIs for developing or programming software
• Skilled in Java
• Skilled in using Cucumber for supporting Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Skilled in using Selenium for testing
• Experience using Salesforce CRM
• Experience using BitBucket
