    Job Description

    The Agile Project Management Operations (Advisor and Lead)  roles are change agent focused on creating and expanding service offerings from the Agile Center of Excellence. Leading and developing programs that support the Agile Center of Excellence’s strategic objectives. Working within the Agile Center of Excellence to define content needs and determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension (playbooks, presentations, roadmaps, quick reference guides) Provide consulting advice and expertise to ACoE to help them improve their performance. In short, this role helps to provide services to the enterprise that empower employees to own their transformation. 

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Agile Project Management Operations role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    •  Leading and developing programs that support the Agile Center of Excellence’s strategic objectives (Enterprise Operating Model Maturity Assessment, SAFe enterprise license distribution, fostering communities of practice i.e. Agile Day Conference)
      • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
      • Organizational and multitasking skills
      •  Close attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead
    • Working with Agile Center of Excellence to define content needs and determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension (playbooks, presentations, roadmaps, quick reference guides)
      • Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
      •  Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
      • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
      • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
      • Conducting research on any given topic
      • Presentation skills that enable an individual to: interact with the audience; transmit the messages with clarity; engage the audience in the presentation; and interpret and understand the mindsets of the listeners.
    • Provide consulting advice and expertise to ACoE to help them improve their performance
      • Brainstorm strategies for growth, positive change and improvement.
      •  Facilitate strategic discussion, drive consensus, package vision.
      • Solve problems through helpful recommendations and practical suggestions.

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experience Advisor Level: 

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent applied experience
    • At least 6 years of relevant work experience
    • 3+ years working in an Agile delivery environment where a scaling framework was applied
    •  1+ years serving as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or equivalent experience serving as change agent, helping organizations plan, manage, and implement scaled agile to meet strategic objectives
    • Leading SAFe SA certification
    • Experience with Agile Lifecyle Tools such as JIRA, Version One, Rally
    • Demonstrated record of influencing and managing relationships across various functions respectfully and cooperatively to drive towards a common goal
    • Particularly skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Minimum Required Experience Lead Level:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent applied experience
    • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
    • 2+ years working in an Agile delivery environment where a scaling framework was applied
    •  1+ years serving as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or equivalent experience serving as change agent, helping organizations plan, manage, and implement scaled agile to meet strategic objectives
    • Experience with Agile Lifecyle Tools such as JIRA, Version One, Rally
    • Demonstrated record of influencing and managing relationships across various functions respectfully and cooperatively to drive towards a common goal
    • Particularly skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Desired Skills & Experiences: 

    • Degree in a technical area of study such as Computer Science
    • Leading SAFe SA certification
    • Power Point presentation skills
    •  Certified SAFe Program Consultant preferred 
    • Lean Project Management training experience, including expertise in applying Lean Management principles
    • Experience with Atlassian suite (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
    • Experience with Agility Health Radar team health tool
