    Job Description

    As a valued leader on our team, you will manage the oversight and governance of Fannie Mae's operational effectiveness and efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

    The SOX - Internal Controls - Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Implement and manage processes and procedures for gathering information on the organization's operational effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Manage the review of the organization's financial reports.
    • Manage organizational compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations.
    • Promote proactive risk management by managing internal controls.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experiences

    • 6 years of Internal Controls Testing or Audit
    • People management experience, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring.
    • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Accounting Background, CPA preferred.

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • Financial Services Knowledge
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized
