    Job Description

    As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members and business leaders on strategy formulation and planning for the Single-Family Division. In this role, you will coordinate and engage in cross-functional strategic problem solving, as well as engage project teams and stakeholders to align business initiatives to the strategy.

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Strategy and Insights - Strategy - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    Lead projects and teams in developing strategies at the division- and sub-division level.  This involves:  

    • Structuring problems by identifying the right questions to answer, hypothesis generation, and analytical framing
    • Validating assumptions through data and generating insights to form conclusions
    • Building recommendations, business cases and strategies for products, policies, and marketing driven by data and insight
    • Creating compelling narratives in various modalities (written, oral) to influence leaders on recommendations and suggested direction
    • Manage team members and their work on the project

    Advise business partners on how to best support strategic goals and vision for business units and/or the enterprise

    • Serve as strategic thought partner to senior leaders within division
    • Effectively challenge stakeholders and partners, including at the officer level
    • Facilitate connections across the organization
    • Influence effectively without formal authority

    Contribute to and advance the team’s impact in the organization

    • Cultivate client relationships across the enterprise, including proactively managing needs and expectations of senior business leaders
    • Contribute to the development and/or growth of the team or its individual members

     

  • Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences

    • 6 years of work experience in a strategy or consulting role

     

     

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred

    SKILLS

    • Ability to structure and frame complex business problems
    • Ability to generate insights through data analysis, design of business models, interpretation of customer and market data, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
    • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to represent points of view with clarity and balance
    • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage/engage stakeholders and build relationship networks
    • Well-versed in Excel and Powerpoint
